Most tours of Prague's Jewish Quarter concentrate on showing you the monuments. Our aim is to help you understand them. Choose from morning and afternoon departures on selected days. Understanding Jewish Prague is for travellers who want more than a list of dates and buildings. Follow over 1,000 years of Jewish Prague, from the medieval community through the Holocaust and post-war era to the present day, and discover how Prague's Jewish community helped shape the city's cultural, intellectual, commercial and religious life. Admission is included to the sites visited, including the Old-New and Spanish Synagogues and Old Jewish Cemetery. The tour is led by an officially qualified local guide with specialist accreditation for Prague's Jewish Quarter, bringing these remarkable places to life.
